How Many Continents Are There in the World?

There are different assumptions about how many continents are in the world. The generally assumed number of continents is seven. Continent means one of the principal land masses of the earth. If you assume Europe and Asia as a one continent Eurasia there are 6 continents. If you assume North America and South as a one continent America as a one continent there are 6 continents.

2. Antarctica
3. Asia
4. Australia (Oceania)
5. Europe
6. North America
7. South America
